Scoping Reports Submitted: a major step towards environmental consent for Talisk

Magnora Offshore Wind submitted the onshore and offshore scoping reports for the Talisk Offshore Wind Farm in January.

Located approximately 25 km off the northern coast of the Isle of Lewis, the proposed development covers an area of 103 km², has a maximum capacity of 495 MW, and comprises floating wind technology. GoBe Consultants Ltd has supported the project to submit the Offshore Scoping Report and Offshore HRA Screening Report to the Marine Directorate, and the Onshore Scoping Report at the same time to Comhairle nan Eilean Siar. This is a key milestone for the Talisk consent progress, which starts the formal scoping consultation and process for receipt of a Scoping Opinion in order to inform a consent application. Consent application is planned to be submitted within H1 2027.
